ESPN Sportscaster Stuart Scott On Overcoming Adversity

Last night at the Body at the ESPYS Celebration event held in Los Angeles, we had the honor of speaking to ESPN Sportscaster, Stuart Scott.

The Sportscenter anchor will be receiving the Jimmy V Perseverance Award after battling cancer twice at the 2014 ESPYS. Scott was first diagnosed in 2007 with appendiceal cancer where he underwent two surgeries and months of chemotherapy. After being given a clean bill of health, it was two years later when the cancer returned.

Earlier last year, Scott had surgery again, and is still currently continuing with medical treatments.

After joining ESPN in 1993 for the launch of ESPN2, Scott has become one of the most recognizable sports anchor and a favorite amongst sports fans.
